Western Australian writes note to his drunk self to avoid a hangover

A Western Australian man wrote a note to himself to remember to drink water and eat chicken wings after a big night out to avoid a hangover, but it didn't go quite as planned.

'Sober' Steven Davidson, from Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, decided to pen the amusing note to 'drunk Steve' on Saturday so he could avoid being 'hangover Steve' on Sunday.

Little did he know, 'drunk Steve' was not in the mood to take his advice.

'F*** you sober Steve, I do what I want. P.S. tell hangover Steve he's a lil b**** [sic],' he found scribbled almost ineligibly under his original note (pictured) 

'To drunk Steve, please drink this bottle of water before bed then you can have the chicken wings in the fridge. Hangover Steve will thank you. From sober Steve,' the neatly written letter said.

The next day he found 'drunk Steve's' almost illegible response.

'F*** you sober Steve, I do what I want. P.S. tell hangover Steve he's a lil b**** [sic],' it said.

Not so amused with his own antics the next morning, Steve posted a picture of the note on his Facebook.

'Well that didn't go to plan. Damn you to hell drunk Steve!!!' he wrote.

Steve's drunken ramblings has incited chuckles around the world since it was shared by a friend on Twitter. 

'Just what lil b**** hungover Steve needed!' he later posted on Facebook
